About the project
Our Tenant Representation team in South Africa has a long-standing relationship with the client - a global management consulting firm - that began a decade ago.
When the company resolved to relocate to a new premise that better suited its growth projection, embodied its brand identity with a focus on employee well-being and met its environmental aspirations - JLL was appointed to advise on their real estate strategy.
Based on our client’s precise requirements and the availability of suitable office spaces in the market, it was determined that a purpose-built solution at Oxford Parks was the best option. Our Tenant Representation team continued to support in negotiation of the commercials and terms and conditions of the lease agreement.
Owing to our Tenant Representation team's strong relationship with the client, our role was subsequently expanded to include Project and Development Services to deliver the new 2,941sqm workspace.
Designed to house approximately 250 employees across two floors, it will be equipped with the latest technology upon completion, incorporating sustainable and SMART design elements and feature flexible workspaces with open plan areas to encourage collaboration.
Our role entails project management and cost management services from project inception through design development, procurement, and construction phase. Procurement will be via a hybrid design and build route, with the developer, Intaprop, supporting concept design and providing design input to complete the building, while a third party appointed design team will complete the fit-out.
The new corporate office is due to be completed in September 2023 and is targeting a 6-star green building rating.
