Q3 2022: Is that a light at the end of the tunnel?

The third quarter of 2022 finally saw some reprieve for the broader office market, as vacancies are bottoming out and rental declines have moderated. Retail vacancies are also generally at pre-pandemic levels, if not better, but this sector remains vulnerable as the national economy slows down. Finally, the logistics sector is still going from strength to strength, and there are encouraging signs emerging in terms of older industrial stock as well. Finally, the hotel industry continues to show positive gains, and is gearing up for the summer season ahead.
